琺瑯の事/About Holo (Enamel Products)
琺瑯（ほうろう）製品は手作りです。オートメーション化された生産ラインで次々と作られるわけではありません。
熟練した職人が真心をこめて一つ一つ丁寧に作っています。
鉄とガラスの特性を活かした琺瑯製品は、汚れがつきにくく衛生的で、且つ丈夫で長持ちする環境にやさしい製品です。
Our products are made by hand by top craftsmen to ensure the best quality in Enamel goods. By bringing out the natural qualities of steel and glass, our products are stain resistant and made to last for many years, which also make our products environmentally friendly.
琺瑯製品の特長/Qualities of Enamel
・鉄（ほうろう用鋼板）の表面にガラス質を焼き付けたもので、鉄とガラス両方の長所を持つと同時に、互いの短所を補う性質を持つ（芯材が鉄なので、割れない。ガラスの膜によりさびにくい）
・芯材が鉄の為、ガス火がもちろん、IH調理器でも効率よく加熱できる。
・表面がガラス質なのでにおいや汚れがつきにくくお手入れしやすい。
・酸や塩分に強い為、食材の保存にも適している。
・金属イオンが発生しないので、食材の風味を損なわない。
・一度温まると表面のガラス質が熱を閉じ込めるので保温性に優れている。
・ガラス質は極めて耐食性が高く、美しい色合いをいつまでも保つことができる。
・熱に強く、オーブンでの使用が可能（琺瑯以外の部品が設置してあるものは不可）
（※注意事項 琺瑯製品は基材が金属の為、電子レンジでは使用できません。）
・Glass is burned over the surface of our steel made specifically for our products which in turn negates the weakness of both steel and glass (The base is made with steel so it will not shatter like galss, and the outer glass layer will prevent rust)
・Since the base of the products are steel, it can be used over both fire and IH cooking heaters to effectively heat up food or liquids.
・The outer layer is made of glass so it is smell and stain resistant.
・The products are strong against acids and salt, perfect for storing food long term.
・The glass outer layer prevents the taste of metal transferring to foods.
・Glass is strong against corrosion and the beautiful colour of our products will last for a lifetime.
・Strong against heat and able to be used in the oven (Please note products that contain different materials e.g. wooden handles. Are not able to be used in the oven) ※Warning, since the base is made of steel our products cannot be used in the microwave.
琺瑯の長所/Advantages of Enamel Products
耐熱性・冷却性
金属の素地をガラス質で覆っている為、熱伝導が良く、お湯沸かしや料理に活用できます。
冷却性も高いので保存に適しています。
耐食・耐酸
ほうろうは、酸、塩分に強い耐久性を持っています。 その為、貯蔵や醸造用に容器が使われることが多く、
耐薬品性に優れている為、化学薬品などの製造時にも使われます。
美しい色合い
ガラス質に着色ができるので、美しい色合いと光沢を楽しめます。
焼き付けているので、変色することもありません。
非吸着
ほうろうの表面はガラスなので、非吸着性に優れています。
ガラス質は内容物と化学反応を起こすことがありません。
硬度が高く、汚れやにおいがつきにくい為、雑菌が繁殖しにくく清潔に保てます。
洗いやすくお手入れがしやすいのが特徴です。
安全性
鉄とガラスで出来ており、有害なものは含まれていない為、安心してお使いいただけます。
Heat and Cold Resistant
Our Enamel Products are made with a steel base and a glass outer layer making it perfect for heating foods at high heat to storing things in freezing temperatures.
Corrosion and Acid Resistant
Our Enamel products are resistant against corrosion and acidity, thus being perfect for storing acidic food and can also be used to store and make medicinal products.
Beautiful and Unique
Colour is applied to the outer glass layer which ensures a beautiful and glossy look to our products. (The manufacturing process involves burning the glass over the steel which prevents colour loss of our products)
Absorption Resistant
The outer layer being made of glass has a very strong resistance to absorption. Glass also does not react to any elements thus ensuring that smell does not linger, hard to stain and, easy to clean.
Safe to Use
Our enamel products are made with only steel and glass, no harmful substances are used in the manufacturing process to make sure our customers are safe when using our products.
琺瑯の短所/Disadvantages of Enamel Products
衝撃・落下に弱い
表面がガラス質なので、衝撃や落下がありますと欠けや割れが生じます。
サビ
工程上、全てをガラス質で覆いきれない為、水分や塩分等で鉄サビが生じる可能性があります。
鉄サビですのでご安心いただけますが、お手入れにより防ぐ事も可能です。
Weak Against Impact
Since the outer layer is made of glass, it is prone to cracks and damage when hit with impact or dropped.
Rust
Due to the design of the products most of our products are not 100% enamel, thus are prone to rust. This is preventable with drying the products and not letting moisture or salt building up.

ハニーウェアの琺瑯製品は日本琺瑯工業会のSマークを取得しています。
Sマークは琺瑯製品を安心・安全にお使い頂くために、日本琺瑯工業会が日本規格協会が定めた琺瑯JIS等に基づき、
安全性と品質を重視して企画認定したマークです。
Our Honey Ware enamel products have gained the rank of "S" from the Enamel Industry Association. The "S" mark indicates that our products are up to par on quality standards and are safe to use.
